Bibek Silwal is pursuing a Micro master’s in data science and Statistics from MIT Institute for Data, Systems, and Society (IDSS) in coordination with One-league.org and an MBA degree. He has a strong interest in promoting technology and innovation for the betterment of society. He attended ICANN75 as a NextGen participant. He actively engages in global conversations on Internet governance and digital inclusion. Bibek is also a founding member of YIGF Nepal, where he works with the team to create an enabling environment for young people to engage in Internet governance discussions.

He was awarded as Internet Society's IGF Youth Ambassador for 2022 and has been involved in many IG-related programs and forums. He was invited by the European Commission as a speaker at a High-Level Multistakeholder event on the Future of the Internet in a session that gave policy recommendations on behalf of the youths. As a Harvard Crossroads Emerging Leader, Bibek has acquired valuable leadership skills and exposure to diverse perspectives worldwide. He is a techno-enthusiast who enjoys exploring and applying the latest technologies to real-world problems.
