Liubomir Nikiforov is a Ph.D. student at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Law, Science, and Technology research group. His research is focused on a legitimate basis for data processing. 

He is interested in Internet governance as a data protection and privacy enforcement tool and in a more transparent and fairer cyberspace. This led him to participate actively in the ICANN community, and he has been elected a member of EURALO’s Board. Before that, he regularly attended ICANN's annual meetings. 

When he is not working, he has wine with friends and a pizza with pineapple. He participates in and loves amateur theater as well.
