Mark Robertshaw

As CTO of the DNS Research Federation, Mark leads the technical team and is the chief architect of the DAP platform and the open-source libraries which underpin it.  He has a strong background in engineering in multiple languages and software architecture, as well as big data analysis and database systems.  

Over the past 20 years, he has successfully designed and developed several large-scale production systems in public and private sectors, including data analysis platforms, a domain Registrar system, Text 2 Speech integrations for the BBC, and a complete school management system.  

Mark has contributed to several different research projects in the DNS sector and enjoys bridging the gap between the technical and policy communities.
