Robert Nkambwe

Robert Nkambwe is a senior lecturer and Director of Information and Communication Technology at Bugema University in Uganda. He has over 15 years of experience in ICT Management, Community outreach, and Internet Governance.
He chaired the security sub-committee for the ICANN-Africa Strategy Working Group (ASWG), which developed the ICANN Africa Regional Strategy for Fy 2021-2025, whose aim is to promote ICANN’s efforts towards strengthening the security, stability, and resilience of the Internet’s core infrastructures in Africa. His active engagement includes promoting the adoption of Universal Acceptance (UA) locally and regionally and training young people to foster greater comprehension of the internet and its functioning.
