Shreedeep Rayamajhi is a Nepalese social activist, blogger, and journalist. He is also the Managing Director of RayZnews.com, an online news portal, and blog, and has been featured on BBC Outriders and the World Bank’sProvocative Voices. He is one of the Founding Members of the ISOC Nepal Chapter and currently serves as a Member of the Steering Group for the Asia Pacific Regional Internet Governance Forum (APrIGF). Shreedeep is passionate about the Internet and Human Rights, online activism, and building awareness of Internet-related issues that affect the masses.

 

Rayamajhi is the chair of the APRALO Policy Forum and is part of the various At Large working groups. He is passionate about communication and social media engagement. He has served as the regional chair of the At-Large Social Media Working Group (ICANN67-70).

 

He has served as the General Secretary of Asia Pacific School of Internet Governance (APSIG) 2019- 2021. He was also the steering committee member of the Dynamic Coalition of Internet Rights and Principles (2016-2018).

 

Similarly, He was involved with various opportunities for consultation of the WSIS process at the national and regional level, where he was one of the members of the Selection Committee member for the United Nations President of the General Assembly informal interactive consultations on World Summit on the Information Society+10.

 

He has over a decade of experience in research, communication, and content development. He has been very active in the Asia Pacific with various internet governance capacity-building programs at local and regional levels.
