Graduate in Business Management (MBA), a first-generation entrepreneur from a small business family, founded Whitefield Cottons Private Limited in 1995 and managed business in Textile Exports until 2006, after which he discovered a keen interest in global issues, which found a focus on Internet Governance. 

Served as President of Internet Society India Chennai Chapter (2007-2020) and has been an active participant in the global Internet Governance Forum, Internet Society, and the Internet Corporation of Assigned Names and Numbers;  Also pursuing an application in progress for a new Top Level Internet Domain Name from ICANN.
